On February 24th, it was reported that a batch of tens of thousands of cross-border e-commerce goods such as jewelry and glasses were recently declared through cross-border e-commerce direct mail mode (9610). After being supervised by Yiwu Customs, they were transported by Convention for International Road Transport (TIR) vehicles from the express (cross-border) supervision center under Yiwu International Land Port Group to Moscow, Russia. It is expected that the transportation time will be increased by six times compared to sea transportation, and the transportation cost will be reduced by 25% compared to air transportation.

This is the first batch of export goods under the "TIR+Cross border E-commerce" model in Zhejiang Province. It is the first exploration of the combination of new cross-border e-commerce formats and TIR transportation models after Yiwu's comprehensive reform of international trade was approved. It not only marks the further expansion of TIR cross-border road transportation routes in Zhejiang Province, but also signifies that Yiwu's cross-border e-commerce exports have a "new channel".
The general manager of Zhejiang Sanshun Logistics Technology Co., Ltd. said, "In the past, Yiwu's cross-border e-commerce exports to Russia were mainly through air, sea, and railway transportation. Compared with air and railway transportation, TIR international road transportation has the characteristics of less dependence on infrastructure, flexibility, and convenient loading and unloading, making it very suitable for cross-border e-commerce small package exports.
